The Trend: Oversized Jumpers

Hello Fellow bloggers, I can't believe it's already Sunday again, and I have a rather annoying hangover following a few too many beers at a friends house warming party last night.

I finally got round to using my new background yesterday and I'm quite pleased, I say quite because I've been having major camera problems over the last few days, I'm sure you already know about if you follow me on facebook or Twitter (shameless plug, I know). The camera has stopped focusing properly causing the images to be ever so slightly blurry and over exposed. It also means I couldn't take any close up detailed pictures of my shoes or accessories.

This was probably my third or fourth outting of my new favourite dress. It's just so comfortable and versatile I can wear it with pretty much anything. It's actually the same as the bird dress in my last post just with a different pattern.

I'm totally loving oversized jumpers right now, but can you believe this is supposed to be a size 20? I picked it up from a charity shop and it was actually covered in diamantés, so I've spent hours carefully cutting them all off individually because I just know this is going to be one of my favourite comfy jumpers over the winter.

I've barely taken these boots off either since I purchased them last week, they are amazingly comfortable, but give me those extra couple of inches (although I've only just realised that one of my shoelaces were actually undone throughout every photo).

Lastly, as promised, I've answered the following questions as tagged by Irene from Irene and a Blog, You should definitely check out this blog, it's just adorable.

1) Why did you start blogging?
I was acually telling a friend last night, One day earlier this year I was trawling the internet looking for pictures of Christina Hendricks (Joan Holloway from Mad Men) for inspiration, when I came across a link for this blog. Now this girl has amazing style and really interesting quirky taste, it totally inspired me to start a blog of my own.

2) Do you prefer Spring/Summer or Autumn/Winter?
Weather wise without a doubt I prefer Spring/Summer. I love long summer days, especially if I'm not at work, sat in the sunshine with a beer in my hand. But fashion wise it has to be Autumn/Winter. I love my chunky knit jumpers, opaque tights and  knee high boots, I'm so excited for this season.

3) What do you notice first: Smokey eye make-up or bright lips?
Definitely bright lips, I'm so envious of people that can carry it off.

4) Who are your style icons?
As I said previously Christina Hendricks, as Joan Holloway in Mad Men and Alexa Chung (obviously), Olivia Palermo, Pixie Lott and my fellow bloggers of course.

5) Describe your personality in three words?
Hmmmm, Sarcastic, Loyal and Excitable.

6) If you had to leave the house with only one item of make-up what would it be?
My eyebrow pencil. I have thin blonde eyebrows that you can barely see without pencil, so it's actually a necessity if I don't want to look like I haven't got any eyebrows.

7) Which era do you think influenced fashion the most.
This is quite a tough question because fashion is constantly changing to mimic different eras, but right now I would say the 1940's/50's.

8) What beauty product do you always repurchase?
Rimmel lasting finish foundation.

...Now my turn to tag again...

Before I leave you all for another couple of days, I wanted to do a little shout-out to my lovely friend and fellow fashionista Kim, She's off to Newcastle University in a couple of weeks to study fashion, Good Luck Kim. I'm so very jealous.
